About

Tzaadi is David Lash.

Back in the day, when I was teaching history and culture, all I needed was a blackboard, chalk and a compelling subject to weave a simple, clear and true story that connected with my class on an emotional level.

Although the venue has changed, much of what I did in the classroom is applicable to business. My job is to help uncover a business’s unique story and bring it to life. Instead of chalk and a blackboard, I use web development, killer content (pun intended) and search/email/social media marketing to complement your brand and find the people who make a positive connection with it.

What I Do.

I help you uncover your authentic business story, what it is you do and why you do it. First, we have to find out what that is. You talk, I listen. We talk, we listen to each other. From those conversations, I produce a ‘mindmap’ to identify existing talking points and discover new ones. Then I put that into the context of the Web to uncover what works best to get your story in front of people and the the people who matter. During this proces of discovery, we find out what you need.

Do you need a new Web presence or marketing channel? Do you need a blog? Consistent, high quality content? Do you need more people looking at your site? Do you need your web property managed, so you can be free to do what you do best?

I bring relevant experience to your project, including:

  • 10 years experience building compliant and compelling web designs using : HTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery, MySQL, WordPress and Joomla
  • using search engines, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media brands to promote your business, events and causes
  • copywriting for the Fortune 1000, small business and non-profits
  • consulting on web projects in telecommunications, education, healthcare, retail and other domains
  • 20 years teaching, lecturing and mentoring
  • managing web design and QA teams in a corporate setting
  • working with the best Flash and 3D rendering talent in the world

About Tzaadi, the name

Tzaadi (pronounced zah’-dee) is a derivative of the Hebrew letter, tzadi. In Hebrew, each of the 22 letters is more than just a sign for its pronunciation. Jewish culture believes that they are holy symbols that carry within them inspiration directly from the Creator who formed them.

The letter tzadi begins the Hebrew word, tzadik, referring to one who lives a righteous life. The righteous are encouraged to live honestly and openly, help the less fortunate around them and unassumingly do vital deeds of justice. Like many, I held the barely conscious belief that kindness is weakness. But what is inherently weak about ‘doing the right thing’, living honestly or a random act of goodness? They require courage and very hard work. They build integrity. They engender trust. They open the doors to humility and awe.

As such, I’ve set out to consciously amplify good in my daily life. Tzaadi and its potential embodiment of good is what I want for my personal brand.
